What would you like to see in F-Zero for the Wii?

I would like to see.

- A track editor (No expansion kit for crying out loud)
- 10 new pilots
- All the AX characters and Deathborn (Deathborn was badass)
- A more detailed machine editor
- Online (If they screw this up as bad as Brawl Imma gonna be-a pissed)
- Venues from The first F-Zero, X and GX (Casino Palace and White Land were my faves)
- The same difficulty and physics as GX.

What do you think should be in the next F-Zero?

I'd say about everything you said. But I'd add a better stamp editor and maybe a make your own pilot with the machine editor, a bit like in Soul Calibur

Here is my list of possible expectations of the next F-Zero title in the series if one is ever released.

1. The Time line of the Wii title will take place in the canon time line. That time line is as follows F-Zero > F-Zero X(10 years after the first game) > F-Zero GX/AX (1 year after X).

2. The pilots of GX/AX will return along with 10 new characters added to the series. I also hope no more are added to the roster after that. Cause 51 pilots is enough.

3. the Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl Cups feature new courses for the game, while the Bronze, Silver, Gold, & Platinum Cups feature Retro tracks and a new Galaxy cup which is an All-Cup tour. Note there was an All Cup tour found by hacking F-Zero GX with a Action Replay.

4. Story Mode should be bigger and able to take on multiple pilot roles. Captain Falcon, Phoenix, Jody Summer, Princia Ramode, Samurai Goroh, Blood Falcon, Black Shadow, & Deathborn will be playable and each having their own story mode but all connected to each other.

5. Track Creator, an expanded Machine Creator, more flexible emblem creator, & if possible create-a-pilot feature in the game as well.

6. Time Attack should be broke up as follows Time Attack, Records, & Zero Test. The Survival Mode from Climax should be featured in this game but be fully playable I cannot get the Battle Tour to work for me for some odd reason hopefully it just my copy of Climax that's messed up.

7. Alternate Machines should be in the game as well such as The Neo Blue Falcon, Fire Scorpion(BS F-Zero), Luna Bomber(BS F-Zero), Green Amazone(BS F-Zero), Hyper Death Anchor, Red Bull, etc.

8. Character theme songs should be in the game as well.

9. F-Zero pilot interviews returning as well but with a better voice cast at least but if the English VA's are not pleasant to the ears(note I prefer English VA's) then have the option for Japanese VAs with English subtitles.

10. Online mode, that features 8-12 people racing against one another, able to trade Ghosts, and view each others overall records.

That's my 10 expectations for the Wii title of F-Zero.

Oh yeah! The survival mode was so great in Climax. The voice actor really needed work too, I agree...
If they ever make a new F-Zero though, I'm pretty sure they retro courses would be in, I mean they've been doing that for a few racing games since the first DS was out...

If they can build up from what Mario Kart Wii set down, it'll be good at least. Though I really don't expect 30 people racing at once, imagine the lag.

I've always liked the idea of a multiple-character story mode.


I can see it working with the characters blackshadow posted earlier. Falcon has the biggest/most important part of course, while Princia is off doing her own thing and somehow manages to do something really imprtant to the plot, probably in some hilarious way. And being able to play as the villains for a few missions is always a plus too.

In consideration to everyone's ideas about the story mode, lemme flesh it out for you guys. Just a possible consideration for the main plot.

(PLAYABLE CHARCTERS: CAPT. FALCON, PRINCIA RAMODE, JODY SUMMER, BLOOD FALCON, BLACK SHADOW, ZODA, SAMURAI GOROH, *NEW CHARACTER)

All of the above characters follow their own little path around the F-ZERO world, but here's my suggestion for the REAL plot.

I'd take out Zoda, and place in Phoenix & Deathborn. Nothing against Zoda, just that he worked as a main villain in the anime cause him and Ryu were rivals. However I just don't see that with the canon series neither especially when we also have the God's perfect being Deathborn and the time traveling detective Phoenix quite possibly chasing after D-Born. Zoda could play a major role in some chapters, but as a main character I just don't see it happening.

Nice suggestion of a story though.
