Does this franchise have a future or not? I sure hope it does.

I have hope in a sequel. Starfox Command wasn't the best, but it's the latest. Starfox and F-Zero are pretty much on the same boat, so if a new F-Zero game's announced, then Starfox will follow and same the other way around.

If a new Starfox does come out on the Wii, it's going to need a lot of chemo to recover from the last three games. Just arwing levels, corrider and all range mode. Just the fab four characters with other characters only making appearances in certain levels. And remove any references to dinosaurs...

Miyamoto has expressed that Star Fox would do well on Wii, and Imamura has made character designs for the game, but they have yet got a developer for that game.

It think it's clear Your never, ever gonna see SF64, since that was actually a remake of the first Star Fox to begin with. Please Assault was fine, considering the fact the single player mode wasn't even meant to exist in the first place.

Yea, it's quite obvious that the one player mode was not thought out anywhere near as much as previous games. It's level selection is dwarfed even by Starfox 64. But, the marks that I will give it is that the Arwing levels are rather well made. And that the on foot parts play well, but having to worry about covering your partners still in Arwings is an anxiety attack.

Assault was meant to be a multiplayer game only while in development. Then someone suggested, that there needs to be a some sort of single player campaign.

I have to give the n64 game the better single player, but Assault's multiplayer just kicks butt.

I hope the Wii editions keeps the multiplayer from Assault while adding the all the ground, landmaster, arwing, & Blue Marine missions in the single player.
