| Not sure if anyone here has seen this, it appears to be relatively recent. Its a program that creates a custom machine for F-Zero X, then generates a Gameshark code allowing you to use the machine in your actual F-Zero X cartridge. It's at least a runner up prize to actually owning the expansion kit. F-ZERO X – Create Machine (1.3) | |

| Oh I see, well that's good, I wished they had that for GX's machine creator. It's good to have preset names but changing a name to your machine would be good, I can't imagine driving a custom with the name Snail in it lol. | |

| And Ironically the Death Anchor has the 2nd highest top speed in GX despite it's name.
Not so much in the GBA titles though.

What edges does this have over GX's machine editor? Aside from being able to name your machine, the colour customization is much wider. You can also use this to unlock the three extra vehicles only available in the expansion kit, Super Falcon, Super Stingray, and (ugh) Super Cat. And, the vehicles just look more like they belong in F-Zero than the over the top ones you could make in GX. The only real down side is that its not streamlined, though presumably it was when presented in the expansion kit.

| well, the colour customization is wider only to those who don't know how the RBG works, because it has the same colours. But they do really look better in the game with that software. | |

I meant in terms of what you could customize =P. Such as being able to customize four parts of the machine, as well as the cockpit, rather than just the three parts as in GX.

| Well they did say alot of the machine designs for X(regular machines) were made kindof simple cause of the high speed action and the 30 racers on the course at once. The game wouldn't be able to handle very complicated designs otherwise.
I suppose that's why these custom machines fit in better than the ones in GX, though GX aimed to be over the top with some the new machine design and I was expecting the same with the custom parts.
I think the emblem feature maybe better in GX as well.
