| I'm just wondering what your guy's thoughts are about Maximum Velocity and were wondering if you think it should get a sequel in it's time line.
Well IMO, this game left with nothing to be desired. The characters were specifically made to be flat, this is another reboot continuity(with none of the original 4), and from what many people speculate it was to show off Mode 7's capabilities on the GBA like the original F-Zero did on the SNES.

| I don't think it should. I played once and never got into the game so much. About 5 minutes later I went to play GX lawlz.
The characters weren't very developped, they weren't much original and the original characters/places were barely mentionned.

| I know that's what killed my interest in this game.
I wouldn't have a problem with them cameoing in the canon series.

| This game was only released for the GBA launch.
The character design looked not bad at all but their stories were flat.

| I would say this game feels more like the original SNES title than any other F-Zero sequel, due to it focusing on just the racing, and not the story or characters. That does cause it to lose a lot of charisma, though. I wouldn't mind seeing some of the vehicles as bonuses in a later title... | |

| I wouldn't mind that actually. Several people do like the MV machines. Though I have wonder if Nintendo even cares enough about this title to do that?
It's easily forgettable compared to the other titles.
While the first F-Zero was mainly focused on racing, the game did come with a comic at least to give the characters some background.
I just have that feeling Maximum Velocity is just a one time deal, and even the developers Nd Cube did say F-Zero was merely their testing ground for games. Once I find that interview again I'll post it.
